This is my first blog, I have made it for one week. I am would like to share my study abroad life in Canada with you. I hope it helped people who first visit Vancouver. Granville Island is said to be one of the best places to spend a lazy afternoon in Vancouver. It is a arts-and-leisure centre ：includes art, culture, leisure and other diverse features of the tourist spots.

I will recommend a shop named Abread affair, it a no GMOs, no Chemistries,no Pesticides bread shop. I pretty like this shop’ bread, because their ingredients from local farmers where available. They sell alongside these farmers at Farmer’s Markets throughout the Greater Vancouver Area. They grow their own wheat at Organic Farms throughout the Fraser Valley.

Stanley Park is a magnificent green oasis in the midst of the urban landscape of Vancouver. It is Vancouver's first, largest, and most beloved urban park.

We rented bikes near the park and visited around the lake by bike. You can enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall. Discover kilometres of trails, beautiful beaches, local wildlife, great eats, natural, cultural and historical landmarks in there.

Stanley park is a huge park, if you first go to there, they provide printable map of services. It includes the points of interest, washrooms, food, phones, and parking. I recommend this place as your destination for a relaxing vacation.

New Westminster Museum

This is a interesting place to visit in the New Westminster. My classmates and I visited the museum together and took videos and photos as a souvenir.Under the teacher's explanation and classmates' discussion, we learned a lot of historical stories and knowledge of Vancouver.

The New Westminster museum well preserved items from the previous era and exhibits focus on the land, people, and development of the place now known as New Westminster. I think this museum would help teenagers and anyony  who like history have a funny process to study.

I am very interested in this sport. When I first saw it, I thought it was similar to badminton and tennis. Moreover, it is different from other sports. Because lacrosse is an old sport that have about 100 years of civilization and also very popular in modern times. It is a pride and symbol of peace in Canada, due to no physical contact in this game.

Last weekend I accompanied my friend to the bridal gallery in New West to try on the wedding dress. When we entered the store, the fantastic atmosphere of fairy tales. We made an appointment by phone in advance, and it was one and half hours. 

There are a wide range of wedding dresses and decorations ,which from classic to modern fashions. Most of young couples come here. My friend tried on about 10 wedding dresses. Overall, I feel the price is lower than other stores in the industry; but, the quality is not perfect. The service is excellent, bacause every sales have integrity smile and sincere praise. They also have good patience to explain the design, texture of the wedding dress  and many professional knowledge. Friends who have interesting can go to the New Westminster feel it.

New Westminster

New Westminster is the former capital of British Columbia and famous for its heritage buildings, waterfront area, various festivals and Queens Park.New Westminster is a city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada, and a member municipality of Metro Vancouver. It was founded by Major-General Richard Moody as the capital of the new-born Colony of British Columbia in 1858, and continued in that role until the Mainland and Island Colonies were merged in 1866, and was the Mainland's largest city from that year until it was passed in population by Vancouver during the first decade of the 20th century.

Vancouver was originally named Gastown and began as a settlement which grew around the site of a makeshift tavern on the western edges of Hastings Mill built on July 1, 1867, and owned by proprietor Gassy Jack. The original site is marked by the Gastown steam clock. The city was renamed "Vancouver" in 1886 and it’s natural seaport on the Pacific Ocean became a vital link in the trade between Asia-Pacific, East Asia, Europe, and Eastern Canada.
